When Jesus ascended to Heaven, He left behind the Apostles to continue the work, to teach all nations and to make more disciples. The message which they were to bear unto the uttermost parts of the earth was “Jesus Christ and Him crucified” (1 Cor 2:2). The preaching of the cross and Christ crucified is “the power of God and the wisdom of God” (1 Cor 1:24). |
